Telangana Elections: Congress high command starts resolving internal issues

Hyderabad: The Congress high command on Friday started resolving internal issues and pick candidates with the best winning chances for the forthcoming polls and among the first cases it took up was the one of P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy and former cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin.

Both are eyeing the Jubilee Hills constituency, and Azharuddin’s proto-campaign has irked Vishnuvardhan Reddy. The high command asked Reddy to go ahead in the Jubilee Hills constituency.

It was reported that AICC in-charge Manikrao Thakre had a conversation with Vishnuvardhan Reddy on Friday and asked him to intensify regular activities.

Vishnuvardhan Reddy said that he received an assurance from the high command previously and he was doing his groundwork. "Whatever the high command says, I will follow. The Jubilee Hills constituency has been the base for my family for the past few years," Vishnuvardhan Reddy said.
