Control Revanth’s snide remarks against KCR, Jeevan Reddy urges Rahul

Jeevan Reddy sought Gandhi’s intervention to control Revanth Reddy\'s abusive language

HYDERABAD: Ruling party MLA A. Jeevan Reddy on Thursday complained to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi about TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy's alleged derogatory remarks against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, while addressing public meetings and press conferences.

Jeevan Reddy sought Gandhi’s intervention to control Revanth Reddy's abusive language. He reminded Gandhi about the Congress-Shiv Sena-NCP government in Maharashtra arresting Union minister Narayan Rane of the BJP recently for his derogatory remarks against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

"The Maharashtra government has arrested Rane for insulting the Chief Minister only once. But in Telangana, your TPCC president is making insulting remarks on our CM and TRS government every day. What action should our government take against him?" Jeevan Reddy wrote.

Addressing a press conference here, he said "I wrote to Gandhi believing that Revanth's unparliamentary language has not come to his notice. I wanted to know what action the state government should initiate against the TPCC chief."
