Narendra Modi is good at marketing, says Siddaramaiah

Siddaramaiah targeted former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and said \"It is a political gimmick to have hotel food at Dalit's home.\"

Bengaluru: At a programme to inaugurate various welfare schemes at Sarvagnanagar Assembly constituency, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and termed he was good only at marketing and without delivering anything good for the benefit of people, he is getting all publicity.

Addressing the gathering, Siddaramaiah said, "Where is 'achche din' promised by Modi? He promised to bring back black money from foreign banks and deposit Rs15 lakh in bank accounts of each person. Forget Rs 15 lakh, not even Rs 15 has been deposited."

No government had strived like our Congress for the welfare of poor and marginalised, Siddu claimed.

He also took objection to BJP leaders calling former BJP PM Vajpayee's regime as 'Shining India' and the one under Modi as 'Achche Din' and added that under BJP's rule rich is becoming rich while the poor is remaining poor.

Siddaramaiah targeted former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and said "It is a political gimmick to have hotel food at Dalit's home."

He even went on to say that BJP leaders stopped this immediately when he asked BJP leaders to pick their daughter-in-laws from dalit families.

Voters are Gods
Mr Siddaramaiah also used stage to seek votes. "JD(S) leaders are opportunists and pseudo secularists and by voting for BJP party is nothing but supporting a communal force," he said and asked people to cast their votes for Congress.

Welfare schemes
Siddu distributed 665 autorickshaws, 285 vehicles for physically challenged and provided financial assistance to 892 unemployed youth to become self-reliant.
