VIJAYAWADA: Minister for water resources Ambati Rambabu said that YSRC leaders and cadres will give a befitting reply to Telugu Desam leader Kanna Lakshminarayana if he does not stop abusing Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He said that Chandrababu Naidu appointed Lakshminarayana as in charge of the Sattenapalli constituency and not as a candidate for Sattenapalli in the 2024 elections hence there is no guarantee that he will contest the election from the Sattenapalli segment.
Rambabu said that Kanna is an opportunistic person who has changed multiple political parties from Congress to BJP and then into Telugu Desam.
The minister recalled that Kanna abused and cursed Chandrababu Naidu in objectionable language earlier but now he is cleansing the photos of Naidu which shows his opportunistic politics of him. He further alleged that in the 2019 elections, BJP provided huge funds to Lakshminarayana but he never spent them and used the funds for himself.
He said that criticism is common in politics but personal abuse using filthy language is severely objectionable. Rambabu warned Kanna of a befitting reply from YSRC cadres if he continues using vulgar language against Jagan Mohan Reddy.
