Srinivas, Bhupati Reddy keep off TRS activities
NIZAMABAD: TRS Rajya Sabha member D. Srinivas and MLC Dr R. Bhupati Reddy have been maintaining a distance from party activities for the last few days. It is believed that they were disappointed over lack of recognisation for them in party affairs.
Mr Srinivas had joined the TRS hoping to get “respect”. He was follow-ed by many of his suppo-ters in Nizamabad Urb-an and Nizamabad Rural Assembly constituencies. They are feeling unc-omfortable in the TRS and are unable to leave it. In view of this, Mr Srinivas had convened a meeting with the leaders and openly discussed their dissatisfaction.
Interestingly, TRS MP K. Kavitha has pointed out that the TRS elevated Mr Srinivas to the Rajya Sabha while the Congress had denied him an MLC ticket.
Dr Bhupati Reddy, who began his political career with the TRS from its inception, has expressed anguish that he is not being paid any attention. He feels the party is siding with Nizamabad Rural MLA Bajireddy Govardhan in their dispute.
Differences have reach-ed peak with TRS leaders lodging complaints against each other. Priv-ate conversations of pa-rty leaders are being discussed, leaving the TRS cadre in a shock. Dama-ge control measures are not yet taken as the party leaders are busy.
