Kakinada: Officials have made all arrangements for counting votes of MLC elections for Graduates’ Constituency, in Godavari Districts, to be held on Tuesday. District Collector Karthikeya Misra said that the strong rooms at Ranagaraya Medical College will be opened amidst election observers, candidates and their agents and the counting would begin from 8 a.m. He said that 50 ballots would be tied in a bunch.and later, valid and invalid votes would be separated.
Later, the officials would announce the quota number for victory of a candidate. He said that considering priority votes and elimination of rounds, the winner would be announced after crossing the Quota Number.
