K Chandrasekhar Rao conspiring to stall AP development: N Chandrababu Naidu

Naidu promises to bring Godavari water to Venkatagiri.

Nellore: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu assured people to develop Andhra Pradesh more than Telangana. He said that TS CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao was afraid seeing the ongoing development works in AP and conspiring to stall the process.

Mr Naidu addressed roadshows at Venkatagiri, Sullurpeta and Gudur in Nellore district and Kondepi in Prakasam district on Monday. He said that KCR was eyeing properties in AP and planning to rule AP indirectly, with the help of YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“Jagan is also playing to the tunes of KCR.”

Mr Naidu said that AP has to get Rs 1 lakh crore from Telangana. He said that he would not allow KCR to play politics in AP.

Further, he said that Jagan colluded with KCR and that PM Modi has been supporting them.

The CM said that no industrialist would dare to establish his unit or invest in AP if Jagan would come to power.

Mr Naidu said a number of cases, including those of CBI and ED, were pending against Jagan and appealed to the people to extend support to the TD for a stable government.

Taking potshot at former finance minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and YSRC Lok Sabha nominee for Ongole, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy and YSRC nominee for Nellore Adala Prabhakar Reddy, he said the people should ask for a proper explanation for ditching the TD and joining the YSRC. He asked the people to teach a lesson to them in the polls.

At Sullurpeta, Mr Naidu said he would develop Sullurpeta region as Shanghai in China, as it has potential owing to the proximity to three ports and two international airports. He also promised to develop Pulicat Lake as an international tourist destination.

On the welfare programmes initiated by him, the CM said that the TD government is implementing more welfare programmes than neighbouring Telangana and Tamil Nadu. He promised to increase the old age pension to Rs 3,000 from the existing Rs 2,000.
