CM putting cauliflowers on the ears of public, says Roja
Vijayawada: YSRC MLA R.K. Roja criticised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of trying to put cauliflowers over the ears of the public by saying 51% of space would be assigned for greenery in the capital city designs who had earlier taken away 33,000 acres of land which yield three crops a year.
She criticised that there is not even a single tree in the capital to see and further said they are in such a disgusting situation that there are no proper washrooms for the women leaders and representatives as well. She spoke on the PPT in the Assembly media point on Saturday.
Ms Roja also criticised that the ruling party was wasting the time of the Assembly by showing the presentations when the opposition is requesting to discuss on the farmers issues. She said the designs from Norman Foster and partners are the third one, which is doubted to be finalised.
She said that the state government had put aside the two other designs earlier shown and now had come up with the third one. She said Maki organisation had complained to the Union government on AP government cancelling its deal with them and questioned why the Chief Minister isn’t speaking on it in the Assembly.
Finally, she said the public needed the capital city which is useful for them but not the graphical designs, and demanded to present the final designs but not others and waste the time of the Assembly.
On the other hand, Ms Roja even criticised Mr Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu by asking him to stop baseless allegations as answer to his comments that she was negle-cting the Nagari constituency development. She questioned why he isn’t able to see the pro-tests against right from the Chief Minister to the district collector to open the effluent treatment plant to save public from the hazardous water in Nagari constituency.
She even asked why he isn’t able to recolect the protest in the Assembly and in front of the sugar factory when it was closed, which led to the suffering of many farmers and employees. She also questioned why he is not able to see the file she had submitted to health minister Kamineni Srinivas on the construction of a new building for Puttur Hospital which is about to collapse.
