CPM can't do anything in Delhi: Shashi Tharoor
Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM cannot hope to do anything in Delhi with just two or three MPs, according to Thiruvana-nthapuram Congress MP Shashi Tharoor.
“What can these MPs do against the BJP,” he asked while inaugurating the publicity and monitoring committee's central office here on Monday.
He maintained that only the Congress can fight the BJP. "Each vote polled against the Congress will only help the BJP," he said.
Mr V. S. Sivakumar MLA, chairman of the publicity committee, said the central publicity office would function as a war room. The campaign will be waged against the Modi and Pinarayi governments by the booth committees, he said.
“The vision of the Congress and the views of Congress president Rahul Gandhi will reach the people,” he said.
Congress MLA K. Muraleedharan said the 1,000 days of Pinarayi government were marked by political murders, attacks and mistreatment of community leaders and believers.
