WARANGAL: The massive margin by which the TRS won in Huzurnagar is an indication that the people are with the TRS. This proves that what the opposition said is wrong, said panchayat raj and rural development minister E. Dayakar Rao.
The Huzurnagar win is a huge blow to the Congress in its fortress. With people favouring the TRS in a constituency held by the TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy for three terms.
Speaking to the media persons on Thursday, Mr Dayakar Rao said that the leaders of opposition parties criticised the TRS-led government.
However, the people’s verdict has come as a slap on the face of the opposition. People are not ready to believe the accusations against Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
When the Chief Minister had to cancel his election campaign in Huzurnagar due to rains, the opposition took the opportunity to criticise him, he added.
