Hyderabad: The MIM’s Bahadurpura candidate Moazzam Khan is being criticised after a seven-second video went viral purportedly showing him threatening his opponents with dire consequences.
The candidate is heard telling his opponents, “Kisi ke baap ko nahin bakshenge, jab hum Majlis apne pe aajayenge toh kisi khandaan ko nahin chodhenge Insha Allah (We will not pardon anyone’s father, when we, the Majlis will show our true form. We will not let any family go).
The context of the threats and the victim of his ire was not known. The clip is reportedly from his address to party workers at Osmanbagh.
MBT spokesperson asked what action had been taken against Mr Moazzam Khan, Asked whether the MBT had lodged any complaint, he replied. “in case we lodge a complaint the police will not take action against the MIM.”
