M Venkaiah Naidu, N Chandrababu Naidu making false claims: CPI

After enjoying power now they are saying that it is not possible to accord SCS, says K Narayana.

Tirupati: CPI national executive council member K. Narayana has alleged that both Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Union minister M. Venkaiah Naidu are deceiving the people of Andhra Pradesh with their false claims.
Participating in the people's ballot on special category status in Tirupati on Saturday, he flayed both the leaders for backtracking on their promises.

He said both the Naidus' along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised the people of the state in their election speech at Tirupati that they will give SCS for 15 years if they came to power.

“After enjoying power now they are saying that it is not possible to accord SCS. I am throwing challenge to Venkaiah that I will perform puja to Lord Venkateswara Swamy's feet if he bring Rs 2 lakh crore to the state and he should rub his nose to the ground if he fails in his words,” Narayana asserted.

He expressed anguish over several projects being shifted to other states and warned that both Naidus' will be washed away in ongoing movement for SCS.
