Bandi blames KCR for attacks on BJP leaders

Nadda to grace padayatra culmination in Warangal on August 27

HYDERABAD: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was trying to instigate violence in the city with his provocative actions.

“Rao is responsible for law and order problems. He stopped my padayatra and instigated his party leaders to attack me. These won’t deter us,” he said. He ridiculed the CM’s high-level meeting on law and order situation with senior police officers.

Sanjay was addressing a party zonal-level meeting in Karimnagar, which was attended by leaders from six undivided districts.

As there is a “nationwide debate” on the alleged involvement of his daughter K. Kavitha in the liquor scam, Rao was diverting attention of people by targeting the BJP, Sanjay said.

He called upon party leaders to visit Munugode Assembly constituency and work for BJP candidate’s win in the byelection.

He said that the Praja Sangrama Yatra will culminate at Arts College ground in Warangal on August 27. This will have the presence of the party national president J.P. Nadda, he said.
