KARIMNAGAR: DCC president and Dharmapuri assembly segment in-charge Adluri Laxman asked welfare minister Koppula Eshwar to file a defamation case against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and finance minister T. Harish Rao, who pulled aside Eshwar on the dais at a huge public meeting.
“They did so as he belongs to the Dalit community. Why has Koppula Eshwar not filed a case against them,” the DCC president asked. He regretted that the minister has instead warned him (Laxman) that a case will be filed against him.
“If Koppula Eshwar has any guts he should accept my challenge and participate in an open discussion in the presence of Dharmapuri people regarding the several allegations he is facing,” Laxman remarked.
He said people of Dharmapuri are ready to teach a befitting lesson to Eshwar in the coming assembly elections.
Congress party leaders Dinesh, Nishanth Reddy, Shylendar, Srinivas, Ramulu Goud and Subash were present.
