KAKINADA: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) Vice Chancellor Dr G.V.R. Prasada Raju said that Government Order (GO) No. 7, relating to increasing the salaries of outsourcing employees in the recent Pay Revision Commission (PRC), would be applied to the outsourcing employees of the university.

Speaking at a meeting with outsourcing employees here on Tuesday, Dr Raju said their services would be merged with the AP Corporation for Outsource Services (APCOS) soon. He said that as per the instructions of the AP Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) Chairman K. Hemachandra Reddy, salaries if outsourcing employees were being increased from May.

He said that in accordance with the PRC recommendations, arrears would be given from January to April 2022.

Outsourcing employees felicitated Dr Raju, Rector K.V. Ramana, Registrar L. Sumalatha, Director of Evaluation T. Balakrishna and UCEK Principal Krishna Prasad.
