Hyderabad: Ex-MLA Goud blames cops, Govt for framing false charges against him

Hyderabad: Former Alair MLA B. Bikshamaiah Goud said that he was framed in cases due to political vendetta. He blamed the police saying that they were reopening old cases without the court’s permission.

Mr Goud said the cops were framing false charges against him under pressure from the government. He said upper caste Congress leaders were behind the conspiracy.

He said that his enemies pressurised the police to change a civil case against him into a criminal case. “But I secured an anticipatory bail. As I belong to a BC group they are targeting me,” he said.

He also said that reports of his arrest were false. Police said they are investigating cases as per evidence and is not being pressured by anybody.
