Binoy duped Dubai firm, says Surendran

In his Facebook post, Surendran named the CPM leader's son and said that the allegations were serious.

Kozhikode: BJP state general secretary K. Surendran on Wednesday alleged that Binoy Kodiyeri, son of CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, had duped a Dubai company. In his Facebook post, Surendran named the CPM leader’s son and said that the allegations were serious.

“The top leadership including their national general secretary is aware of this fraud and immediate action should be taken against the culprits. Pinarayi Vijayan and Kodiyeri Balakrishnan should end their silence. Kodiyeri’s foreign trips should be brought under investigation,” he stated.

A few hours later, Surendran made another post from his account that linked the sons of Kodiyeri with Kadavathur Rahman, allegedly involved in the ice-cream parlour case. “Kodiyeri’s sons were taken to the Gulf by Rahman in return for toppling the ice-cream parlour case. More incidents of duping are yet to come out. Many are fearing to come out in the open,” he added.

Allegations have circulated that Binoy Kodiyeri had duped the company of '11 crore. The CPM state secretary’s son had taken loans on various occasions for buying a luxurious car and also for business purposes. It is alleged that the cheques submitted by Benoy had bounced and the repayment of loan had also stopped. He owes '11 crore to the company, it is alleged.
