Hyderabad: Congress’ star campaigner in the recently concluded Assembly elections, Ms Vijayashanti on Sunday criticised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for embarking on a tour without announcing the Cabinet berths. Mr Rao is on a four-day tour to four states to garner support for forming a Front against the BJP and the Congress at the national level.
Ms Vijayashanthi posted on her Facebook page: “It has been nearly two weeks since the Assembly results were announced and there is no Assembly till date. MLAs haven’t yet been sworn in. The state Cabinet isn’t formed yet, but the Chief Minister is not in the state. This is the present status of democracy in Telangana state (Sic).”
