EPS, OPS welcome Fadnavis as Maharastra CM again

In a letter, Palaniswami congratulates Fadnavis as CM.

Chennai: The ending of the political stalemate in Maharashtra after nearly a month of the Assembly elections held there with the swearing in of Sri Devendra Fadnavis of the BJP as the state Chief Minister, and NCP leader Ajit Pawar, has been wholeheartedly welcomed by the ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu.

With the AIADMK being an ally of the BJP at the Centre, both the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Thiru Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister Thiru O Panneerselvam, have expressed their utmost happiness over the turn of events in Maharashtra in the early hours of Saturday.

In a letter to Sri Fadnavis, Thiru Palaniswami said: "I congratulate you on your assumption as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. I convey my best wishes to you for a successful tenure."

Not to be left behind, the Deputy Chief Minister, O. Panneerselvam tweeted a hearty congratulatory message to both Sri Devendra Fadnavais of the BJP
and Sri Ajit Pawar of NCP.

"My best wishes to both of you to work for a stable and enduring development of Maharashtra", Thiru Panneerselvam added.
