TRS misusing power to lure voters: Kishan Reddy
HANAMKONDA: The TRS was luring voters with several offers by misusing political power, said Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, adding that money and liquor were flowing like water in Huzurabad.
“The TRS is insulting the leaders who strove for achieving statehood. All those who actively participated in the Telangana movement are now supporting the BJP,” he added.
Before participating in the poll campaign in Huzurabad constituency in support of BJP candidate Etala Rajendar, Kishan Reddy was speaking to presspersons in Hanamkonda district on Saturday.
Kishan Reddy said the people in Huzurabad were against the TRS. TRS leaders were threatening the people that the state government would stop the welfare schemes if they would not vote for the TRS and were indulging in anti-people activities.
He condemned the attack by TRS leaders in Sirisedu village of Ellanthakunta mandal during his campaign and said the BJP requested the Centre to send forces.
Speaking about the comments made by TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao that the BJP joined hands with the Congress, Kishan Reddy said the main enemy for the BJP was the Congress. “Even in dreams, the BJP will never join hands with Congress,” the minister said.
It was the TRS which joined hands with all other parties to defeat the BJP candidate Etala Rajendar. But no one can stop the victory of Rajendar in the byelections. Huzurabad people already decided to vote for the BJP to bring change in the state politics, he said.
