Hyderabad: Congress working president Revanth Reddy on Tuesday skipped a meeting with income-tax officials in connection with a tax evasion case. Sources said he informed the IT officials on Monday that he would send the required documents through his accountant as he was busy in election-related works.
Mr Revanth Reddy was called for questioning in connection with the alleged shell companies floated by him, his family members and friends, besides the cash-for-vote case.
On October 3, Mr Revanth Reddy was questioned regarding the source of Rs 50 lakh seized by the Anti Corruption Bureau he tried to hand over the amount to TRS Nominated Anglo-Indian MLA Elvis Stephenson in 2015.
