TD responsible for Kopparru ruckus: Home minister
Vijayawada: Home minister Mekathoti Sucharita stated that leaders and activists from Telugu Desam had carried out attacks on YSR Congress supporters in Kopparru village in which ten ruling party supporters were severely injured.
The minister visited Kopparru village on Thursday, consoled the injured supporters and instructed the police department to initiate stern action against the culprits. She said that nearly 40 supporters of TD carried out an attack on YSRC during Ganesh immersion but spread false propaganda. She had come to Kopparru to expose their lies.
Sucharita stated that TD supporters first attacked YSRC leader Inturi Hanumantha Rao, who was seriously injured. She said that Hanumatha Rao’s son Inturi Srikanth questioned TD supporters about the attack and they forcibly dragged him into the house of a TD leader and beat him badly.
When YSRC leaders went to the house of the TD leader, his supporters attacked YSRC men in which ten people were seriously injured. She ridiculed TD leaders for lodging a reverse complaint.
