KCR, Harish plotting to defeat me: Etala

Ministers and MLAs were throwing parties for the people and the TRS had spent Rs 200 crore in Huzurabad, the ex-minister said

Karimnagar: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is disturbed by nightmares regarding the Huzurabad constituency byelection and is unable to sleep well, BJP leader Etala Rajendar said on Thursday. That is why the CM was drawing up “cruel plots” which finance minister T. Harish Rao was executing, he said.

The government was focusing only on the byelection, he told mediapersons at Huzurabad on Thursday. Ministers and MLAs were throwing parties for the people and the TRS had spent Rs 200 crore in Huzurabad. The government was releasing GOs for construction of community buildings and temples.

Rajendar asked why Chandrashekar Rao was not implementing the Dalit Bandhu scheme statewide. The Rs 4,000 crore fee reimbursement funds were not released. The government had not waived farm loans. Aarogyasri was not being implemented, and government was not releasing interest-free loans for women’s groups.

The state economy is in poor shape. The government does not even have money to pay salaries to its employees unless it sells land, Rajendra said.

By giving ration cards, pensions, laying roads, constructing community buildings and temples, the CM was trying to bury justice, Rajendra said.
