Hyderabad: Senior leaders from the Congress filed their applications for Assembly berths at Gandhi Bhavan in keeping with the party policy that all have to do so. The party has so far received 500 applications of which 250 were filed on Wednesday.
Those who filed their nominations include Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy from Palair, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy from Bhuvanagiri, Mohammad Azharuddin from Jubilee Hills, Konda Surekha from East Warangal, Bandaru Srikanth from Gajwel and Sunitha Rao from Khairatabad.
The list of aspirants from the Mahila Congress who applied are as follows: M. Sunitha Rao, Khairatabad, state president. Charulatha Rathod from Khanapur, Nanavath Radha from Yellandu, Madhavi Gopagani from Miryalaguda/Nalgonda district, Sada Lakshmi from Chevella, Tirupati Amma from Kollapur, Durga Bhavani from Bellampally, Shabana Begum from Secunderabad, Pushpa Reddy from Kukatpally and B. Anita from Mahbubnagar.
