Thiruvananthapuram: CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran hailed the SNC Lavalin verdict and said it was a setback to those who were misusing the CBI for settling political scores.
Kanam said the verdict will enhance the image and prestige of the ruing LDF. The CBI’s devious had been exposed by the party earlier, he said. The CPI leader said the verdict was also a warning to central agencies which were taking politically motivated cases.
