HD Kumaraswamy scoffs at C fore survey, says it's by Congress, for Congress!
Bengaluru: Dismissing the C fore pre poll survey, giving the Congress party an easy victory if elections to the state Assembly elections are held immediately, as of little importance, state JD(S) chief, H.D. Kumaraswamy contended on Wednesday that little else could be expected of it as Mr Premchand Palety, the founder of the agency, was a member of the Chief Minister’s vision group.
Speaking to reporters here, Mr Kumaraswamy said Mr Palety had himself revealed his association with the Chief Minister in his Facebook post. "Not only that, he has posted a photograph of himself with the security advisor to the government, Kempaiah, with both posing like James Bond. In another picture he is seen dining with the Chief Minister and Energy Minister, D.K. Shivakumar. Can you imagine that gentleman giving a survey report against the Chief Minister?" he asked, adding with sarcasm that the Chief Minister’s advisors could even give the Congress 230 seats when the Assembly had only 224.
Mr Kumaraswamy said he had commissioned a professional private agency to carry out a pre poll survey and was aware of intelligence reports too.”Our party will get a simple majority and the Congress will be reduced to third place,” he maintained .
Recalling that Chief minister Siddaramaiah often described state BJP chief, B S Yeddyurappa as a cheater, he said, "I would say he is a bigger cheater as even after he promised to waive off Rs 50,000 from farmers’ loans, over 200 farmers have committed suicide in the state." Claiming that land was being grabbed even today in Arkavathy Layout, Mr Kumaraswamy contended that the CM did not have the moral right to speak about rival leaders.
