Happy Birthday KTR: BRS leaders paint Hyderabad Pink
Hyderabad: The city has turned pink as the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) leaders erected flexis at every nook and corner wishing IT minister and party working president K.T. Rama Rao on the occasion of his birthday on Monday.
One of the party leaders, Aravind Alishetty, went a step ahead and wished KTR in an innovative manner.
He got a 12-feet high and 45-feet wide luxury painted in pink colour with KTR's bust and his life-size images. Not just this, he parked it right in front of the Assembly to grab their party boss' attention.
On both sides of the bus, he also listed out the minister's achievements, including the T- Hub, Durgam Cheruvu flyover, T- Works, and numerous other flyovers constructed in the city.
The specially-decorated bus will travel through different parts of the city for 10 days, starting from 6 am on Monday.
However, the erection of flexis on the occasion of KTR's birthday has drawn flak from the public as it was against the rules of the GHMC. Further, when the IMD had warned of gales likely in the next couple of days, it is not warranted on the part of the party leaders to inconvenience the public by erecting the flexis as they could get blown up or fall to the ground, hurdling the traffic.
Ahead of the elections, it is but common for the party leaders to make themselves conspicuous to grab the attention of their party bosses as it could help them bag party tickets.
Not just flexis, the pink party leaders also splurged their love towards KTR and wished him through videos, reels and images on various social media platforms.
