BJP's Jana Chaitanya Yatra begins
Hyderabad: BJP state president Dr K. Laxman on Saturday launched his two-week Jana Chaitanya Yatra in Telangana to expose the “TRS government’s failures and highlight achievements of the NDA government” during the past four years.
Dr Laxman performed puja at the Yadadri temple before addressing a public meeting at Bhongir. BJP general secretary P. Murlidhar Rao, Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya, Amberpet legislator G. Kishan Reddy also addressed the public meeting.
BJP national president Amit Shah spoke to Dr Laxman over phone and wished that his tour be a grand success.
Addressing the public meeting, Dr Laxman said, “BJP has waged a war against the TRS government today. The change should begin from Bhongir for ousting the TRS government in 2019 polls. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao failed to fulfil any of the major poll promises he made in 2014 elections. In the name of Bangaru Telangana, he made Telangana into ‘3Cs’, which are contractors, collections and commissions. Only BJP has the strength to fight against MIM and terrorism."
Mr Murlidhar Rao said, “The days of TRS government are numbered. I request people to vote for BJP to bring change in Telangana.”
