Congress demands removal of Puvvada from Cabinet

Hyderabad: The Congress demanded the removal of transport minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar from the state Cabinet for his alleged abetment of the sucide of a BJP activist in Khammam district.

Party leaders questioned why Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was continuing Ajay Kumar in the Cabinet. Sangareddy MLA T. Jayaprakash ‘Jagga’ Reddy sad on a protest at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday demanding the removal of Ajay Kumar. Congress activists burnt an effigy of the minister.

Police arrested AICC member Bakka Judson at Pragathi Bhavan, the camp office of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday. Judson along with a few Congress activists tried to protest at Pragathi Bhavan demanding the removal of Ajay Kumar.
