Hyderabad: YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy estimated that Rs 500 crore were given in kickbacks since the government accepted the excessively high quotation. Mr Reddy also alleged that the sand mafia mined money for AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his men.
He alleged in the capital city formation, the CM threw all norms to the wind and has breached the oath of secrecy by sharing the information regarding the capital city’s location with a select few people who purchased land in the periphery of the proposed location much before the announcement of the capital area.
Mr Reddy said that the YSRC will take a “Save Democracy” protest to Delhi on April 25 to apprise the President, Prime Minister and leaders of all political parties about the rampant corruption and blatant violation of democratic norms by Mr Naidu and his government.
