N Chandrababu Naidu will lose to YSRC, says KT Rama Rao
HYDERABAD: TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday said the electoral loss of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was imminent in the forthcoming polls and the YSR Congress would come to power in the neighbouring state.
In an informal chat with reporters in the Assembly lobby, Mr Rama Rao said, “It appears that Mr Naidu is having convulsions regarding Mr Chandrasekhar Rao even in his sleep. It is better for him to seek votes from the people based on his performance instead of criticising the neighbouring state.”
Mr Rama Rao asked what harm the TRS or TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had caused to AP that Mr Naidu was worrying about him and making allegations.
Mr Rama Rao’s comments came in the backdrop of Mr Naidu’s appeal to the people, asking them not to vote for YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as that vote would go to Mr Chandrasekhar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mr Rama Rao said Mr Naidu was not in a position to play a crucial role either at Delhi or in Vijayawada in the coming elections.
He also asked why Mr Naidu was worrying about income-tax raids against AP MPs, who were industrialists and wondered if he had any benamis.
