Ram Madhav says both TD, YSRC corrupt
Visakhpatnam: Inquiring whether there was another political party in Andhra Pradesh, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav on Friday alleged that both the TD and YSRC were corrupt.
“We are willing to work with any other group here,” he said, giving a call to protect the state and its people from both the family-based parties. “Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s government has been a great disappointment to the people and he does a mockery of things to hide his failures,” Mr Madhav said.
“We will go from house to house to tell the people the truth,” Mr Madhav said. “The TD has become the other side of the Congress coin — same nepotism, same family rule, same inefficiency and same corruption,” he said.
The BJP leader alleged: “The AP Chief Minister has thoroughly destroyed democracy in the state. He was not releasing development funds to four MLAs of BJP and snooping on the people. He quit the alliance with the NDA purely due to political compulsions.”
“Naidu made tall claims that he built Hyderabad but the fact is that he could not build anything, including Amaravati. The Centre had allotted '3,500 crore for the development of the state capital. He has not utilised it so far,” he added.
The BJP leader said that this party would educate the people about the failures of the TDP government in the state.
