CM, Lokesh should answer on gun culture: YSRC

He accused the CM of encouraging a Bhai culture like in Mumbai by associating himself with people llike Subbu.

VIJAYAWADA: YSRC spokesperson Kolusu Pardhasarathi lambasted the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and said that while he spoke of making AP into another Singapore, he was actually turning it into Bihar by encouraging gun culture in the state. Mr Pardhasarathi was addressing a press meet on Sunday in Vijayawada, and this brought upfront many issues that the YSRC had with the ruling government.

Mr Pardhasarathi said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Mr Lokesh were anti-social elements and wondered aloud about their motive in doing so. He acc-used Mr Naidu of introducing and spreading gun culture in Vijayawada, the place where many emine-nt personalities were born.

He also showed pictures of Subrahmanyam alias Subbu with Chief Mini-ster and Paritala Sunita. Subbu had been expelled from the city by the police, but was now active in Vijayawada with his gang. Mr Pardhasarathi severely criticized Mr Naidu and said that while publicly he spoke of not sparing criminals, he was not only remaining silent about their nefarious activities but also posing for pictures with them.

Mr Pardhasarathi also spoke about Mr Subrahmanyam trying to purchase pistols imported from Italy. Mr Pardhasarathy derided the surveillance of the police that overlooked the meetings Subbu had with the CM and the cabinet ministers. He further wanted to know if the police were protecting him as he was close to the TD.
