Congress is dazed, struggling to find candidate: KT Rajenthra Bhalaji

The DMK is afraid of being defeated by the AIADMK.

CHENNAI: Apprehensive of defeat in the hands of AIADMK, the opposition DMK has ceded the Nanguneri Assembly constituency to ally Congress, Milk and Dairy Development Minister K. T. Rajenthra Bhalaji has claimed.

“The DMK is afraid of being defeated by the AIADMK. That is why it has allotted the Nanguneri constituency to its ally Congress. There’s no scope for the DMK to win either in Nanguneri or Vikravandi. The AIADMK will win from both the constituencies,” the Minister said.

Speaking at rally organised by his AIADMK in connection with the birth anniversary celebrations of former Chief Minister C. N. Annadurai at Sattur in the State, Mr. Bhalaji said, “the DMK is our only foe and others are chaff.” He claimed the Congress was in a confused state and was struggling to field a candidate.
