Why are you supporting KCR: Congress MLA Revanth Reddy to PM Modi
Hyderabad: Congress MLA A. Revanth Reddy asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi why he was supporting the proposal of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on early polls to the assembly separately.
Revanth said if elections were held separately, it would become a financial burden. He said that if Mr Modi cooperated with the CM for his political benefit, it would show that a secret understanding was struck between the BJP and the TRS. Mr Reddy challenged the CM to conduct Pragathi Nivedana Sabha on September 2 as announced earlier.
He also alleged that the Chief Minister wanted to go with the MIM in the assembly elections and BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. He asked MIM to think about the Chief Minister’s stand on this issue.
He added that the TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy was talking about early elections to the assembly to prepare the cadre to face the elections.
Revanth Reddy pointed out that AP Chief Minister and TD President N Chandrababu Naidu categorically said that those who had an alliance with the BJP or secret ties were their political enemies. In such a case, it was clear in Telangana, that the TRS was TD’s enemy. “We have to wait to know who are TD’s friends,” he jibed.
