MLA Dasyam failed to develop Kazipet: DCC

Warangal: Taking the four-time MLA to task, DCC president Naini Rajendar Reddy alleged that government chief whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar failed to develop the constituency, especially Kazipet, one of the tri-cities Rajendar Reddy was speaking after inaugurating the Congress party office at Kazipet in Hanamkonda on Sunday.

He alleged that whatever development was seen in the tri-cities of Hanamkonda, Warangal and Kazipet was done only during the Congress regime. Vinay Bhaskar, who had promised to set up the bus stand, the long-pending dream of Kazipet, forgot about it after becoming MLA, he alleged.

Fearing that the Congress party will get political mileage if the railway coach factory is established in Kazipet, which was included in the AP Re-organisation Act, the BRS party, joining hands with BJP, intentionally put it on the back burner, he said.

Alleging that the MLA failed in fulfilling the promises of the establishment of a 100-bed hospital and a junior college in Kazipet, he said though the foundation stone was laid by municipal minister K.T. Rama Rao, the construction works on the double-bedroom house project near the flyover at Kadipikonda have not started yet.

He appealed to the Congress cadre to highlight the failures of the BRS government and its hollow promises and work hard to strengthen the party from the booth level to defeat the BRS in Hanamkonda and the state as well.

Congress leaders Md. Ankush, M. Upendar, E. Srikanth, A. Sambaiah, Raju, Samatha, Lalitha, Babu Rao, Reddy, Prashanth, Vasanth Rao, Manasa, Shaik Azghar, Santosh, Bharath, Shiva, Sammaiah, Ramesh, Haleem, Avinash and Sudheer were present.
