BJP to stage protest for 2BHK houses on July 26

Hyderabad: BJP state president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy has called for a protest at Indira Park on July 26 to condemn the BRS government's failure to deliver 2BHK houses for the underprivileged. He urged people to join the protest against the government's negligence in addressing the issue.

During a meeting with the Greater Hyderabad BJP leaders at the party office in Nampally on Sunday, Kishan Reddy pointed out the importance of providing 2BHK houses to all eligible poor. He warned that if the state government fails to fulfil its responsibility, the BJP will escalate its fight.

Kishan Reddy criticised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for neglecting the poor by not allocating funds for the houses. He said the BJP is committed to fight for the people's rights and the party will intensify its protest to secure adequate housing for the eligible beneficiaries.

N. Gautham Rao, the BJP Hyderabad Central District president, highlighted the significant investment made by the Centre in constructing four crore homes under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana scheme. In contrast, he accused the state government of corruption and mismanagement in the construction of houses. He further said the state government failed to fulfil its promise to both poor and middle-class citizens.
