Madurai: Former CM O. Panneerselvam said that they have been treating the Coimbatore MLA VC Arukutty with due respect. Arukutty MLA shifted his loyalty from Panneerselvam to Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami camp on Friday.
Reacting to Arukutty remarks that he was ignored and not respected by the OPS faction, the former Chief Minister said that they had treated him with respect.
"He came to our side on his own and left us on his own," he said while speaking to reporters at Madurai airport on Saturday.
On AIADMK minister criticising actor Kamal Hassan, Panneerselvam said that everybody has rights to express their views, but it should be within the limits of civility. Similarly, those who oppose others' views should also maintain civility, he added.
