BJP will never privatise Singareni: Bandi Sanjay

WARANGAL: By blaming the BJP government, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is trying to privatize the Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL), state BJP chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay has said.

“The BJP is never going to privatize Singareni but will pay all the dues and save it,” he said at a massive rally held as part of the Mahajan Sampark Abhiyan under the leadership of Chandupatla Keerthireddy in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Thursday.

He alleged that the BRS and Congress parties were conspiring to reduce the popularity of the BJP. “In the name of developmental works, IT minister Rama Rao is visiting Union ministers. After the meeting, while coming outside, he would blame the BJP government,” he alleged.

Bandi Sanjay said that KCR was ruling the state due to the sacrifice of the life of 1,400 Telangana Martyrs. “Before the formation of the Telangana state, KCR led the life of a beggar. He was not able to pay back the loans to his financers, for which they seized his vehicles. But, after becoming CM, KCR has earned more than ₹1000 crore through questionable means.”

KCR did not fulfil the promises made to the Singareni employees. “The state got permission for mining from over 17 open cast mines but KCR sold the coal mine at Tadicherla. By mortgaging the Singareni company bonds in banks, KCR got a ₹25,000 crore loan for the state,” he said.

The BJP leader said, “KCR is using his daughter Kavitha MLC as an ATM card by making her the president of Singareni union. KCR said there will be no recruitments for jobs on contract basis, then how has he recruited 25,000 employees in SCCL on contract basis? Why is he not giving IT reimbursement to the Singareni employees when he boasted that it generated huge profits,” he asked.

Sanjay said, “The BJP will fight the polls alone without any alliance. After coming to power, our government will pay all the pending dues of the state government and will provide free education and healthcare to the people. We will be constructing houses for the shelterless poor. Implementation of the Fasal Bima Yojana will benefit the farming sector and we will announce the job calendar every year.”
