Won’t need help of TRS, says Dr K Laxman

He said that the situation in the state had turned in favour of the BJP after the Assembly elections.

Hyderabad: BJP state president Dr K. Laxman on Wednesday said that the Congress had failed in its fight against the TRS in the state.

During an informal interaction with mediapersons, Dr Laxman predicted that the state would witness a two-party system after the Lok Sabha results were declared.

He said that the situation in the state had turned in favour of the BJP after the Assembly elections. The BJP would take advantage of this and work towards strengthening itself.

Dr Laxman alleged that the BJP had been badly affected by its tie-up with Telugu Desam and its president N. Chandrababu Naidu.

He exuded the confidence that the BJP-led NDA would form government at the Centre without needing the support of the TRS.
