VIJAYAWADA: Condemning the attack on minister Adimulapu Suresh, MLCs Dokka Manikya Varaprasad and Mondithoka Arun Kumar demanded an inquiry into the stone pelting at Yerragondapalem, where TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting.
Both the MLCs have sought protection for the minister.
Talking to reporters separately on Saturday, the MLCs said a Dalit sarpanch had sustained head injuries due to stone pelting.
“Naidu organised a similar attack in Nandigama in the past,” Arun Kumar recalled.
He said Naidu has lost his balance after a media channel survey showed YSRC winning 24 of the 25 MP seats in Andhra Pradesh.
“Out of anger, the TD chief organised stone throwing in Yerragondapalem on Friday,” the MLC stated.
