Only time will tell whether I will quit Congress: Jaggareddy
Hyderabad: Congress MLA T. Jayaprakash Reddy, who is popularly known as Jaggareddy, on Monday remained noncommittal on his much speculated exit from the Congress and join the TRS.
“Time will decide whether he would exit the Congress and join the TRS,” he said.
Speaking to reporters, Mr Reddy said he stopped denying speculation about this political move because his denial had failed to quell this rumour.
The MLA, however, said that he had criticised former minister T. Harish Rao — but not Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao — over his promise to supply Manjeera water to Sangareddy and set up a medical college in the district.
Stating that TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikram-arka have been giving confidence to party MLAs, the Congress MLA wonder as to why do the party MLAs joining in the TRS. But he asked those MLAs who quit the party not to criticise it.
