Razing memorial leads to tension in Warangal

Warangal: Demolition of Congress leader and former MLC Konda Muralidhar’s parents’ statues at Agrahampahad of Atmakur mandal by the followers of the ruling party Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy created a sensation in erstwhile Warangal on Saturday.

When Dharma Reddy was heading towards Agrahampahad village to conduct a review meeting on the arrangements to be made for Mini-Medaram Jatara which will be held in Agrahampahad, he found the statues of Muralidhar’s parents Chennamma and Komuraiah near the place where the Jatara will be held.
