Opposition Leaders are Ghajinis, Says KTR
Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday called opposition party leaders as Ghajinis, referring to a famous character in a 2008 movie who suffers from memory loss.
He said superstar Rajinikant recognised the development that Hyderabad witnessed after seeing glittering flyovers, underpasses and buildings, “but Congress and BJP Ghajinis did not.”
Addressing a road show in Serilingampally constituency, Rama Rao the Hyderabad Metro Rail will be extended by 250 km and the drainage and stormwater drain network will further be strengthened with Rs 20,000 crore in Serilingampally constituency.
He said there were no communal riots or differences between people and people from different states live in Hyderabad peacefully.
The TRS leader criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and recalled that the PM promised to deposit Rs 15 lakh to bank accounts of every citizen but it never happened.
Rama Rao said all major global companies were set up in the Serilingampally constituency, while the government was strengthening other service sectors in the entire city.
“Only a stable government and able leadership will develop Hyderabad. If the chief minister is changed every six months, it will create instability and hamper the growth,” said the BRS working president.
Addressing the gatherings at Munugode, Kodad and Mulkanoor earlier in the day, Rama Rao said parents, despite being aware of water contamination, and rampant fluorosis issues, were helpless as the Congress government back then could not provide safe drinking water.
He stated that Telangana state would live in darkness if Congress won the election and added that there would be long queues for fertilisers and seeds, a three-hour current supply, a water crisis and more suffering.
Criticising Congress leaders, Rama Rao said Revanth Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy could hold any electric wire in Telangana and check for themselves if there was a good power supply or not.
