Warangal: Without mentioning the name of the ruling BRS party, the Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan alleged that the Telangana which is known for its fighting spirit and several movements was not changed even after completion of 10 years of its formation as a separate state.
Corruption is ruling the Telangana state which was formed on the sacrifices of several people. Even for constructing the irrigation projects, the leaders are taking commissions, he added.
Pawan Kalyan participated in the Sakala Janula Sankalp Sabha in support of the BJP candidates of Warangal West constituency Rao Padma and Warangal East constituency Errabelli Pradeep Rao here at Hunter Road in Hanamkonda district on Wednesday.
Speaking in the meeting Pawan Kalyan said, “All these days several people asked me why I am not criticizing the Telangana government. But I thought not to criticize the government which was newly formed and to give respect to the four crores of people who fought for separate Telangana movement and for 1,200 members of youth who sacrificed their lives for achieving separate Telangana state.
I have a lot of respect towards the Telangana party and thought that the government will rule the state without committing any mistakes since the state was formed after several struggles, massive movement, sacrifices and with Sakala Janula Samme. That is why I did not comment anything against the Telangana government, he added
Pawan Kalyan said that he thought of entering into the Telangana state politics when people wished him to come. Since nothing has changed in the Telangana state even after completing 10 years, now the people are wanting the Jana Sena Party to enter into Telangana that is why the party fielded some of its candidates in the assembly race in alliance with the BJP.
He said that how he was visiting various places in the Andhra Pradesh state to understand the problems of the various sections of people, he decided to visit Telangana state from next year onwards.
With an intention to make the BC leader as a chief minister to the Telangana state he was visiting the state and for corruption free Telangana state and also to protect the lives of women who are facing a lot of problems with lack of safety and security in the state he is decided to visit Telangana state but not for the power.
Pawan Kalyan alleged that when he visited Adilabad district he observed that the people are facing a lot of hardships with non-availability of drinking water. He witnessed drought in the Adilabad district even after Telangana was formed into a separate state.
Speaking about the Andhra Pradesh politics, Pawan Kalyan alleged that rowdies are flourishing in Andhra Pradesh and rowdies only ruling the AP state. Even though by facing them he was able to withstand deriving inspiration from the Warangal people for their fighting spirit.
Even though he was born in Andhra Pradesh state, it was Telangana which gave him re-birth. Jana Sena party was born in Telangana state. Deriving the inspiration of separate Telangana movement, the people must teach a fitting lesson to the corrupt leader and parties and must elect the BJP and Jana Sena party candidates for the good days to witness in the Telangana state, he appealed.
Meanwhile a lot of youth and women from various corners of the erstwhile Warangal district attended in large numbers to the meeting to see Pawan Kalyan who visited Warangal in the part of election campaign supporting the BJP candidates.
