BJP Likely to Field 2 Women Candidates in Warangal

Hyderabad: Of the 12 Assembly segments in the erstwhile Warangal district, it is learnt that the BJP leadership is likely to field party district chief Rao Padma from Warangal West against government chief whip and MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and Chandupatla Keerthi Reddy from Bhupalpally for contesting the elections.

The BJP is yet to announce the candidatures for the ten segments including Warangal East, Narsampet, Parkal, Wardhannapet, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Dornakal, Station Ghanpur, Palakurthy and Jangaon.

Meanwhile, the ruling BRS has renominated all the MLAs except for Jangaon seat, which was allotted to MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy.

On the other hand, the Congress earlier announced the names of five candidates including MLA Seethakka from Mulugu, Gandra Satyanarayana from Bhupalpally, Donthi Madhava Reddy from Narsampet, Singarapu Indira from Station Ghanpur and Kommuri Prathap Reddy from Jangaon.
