Apologise for Pattabhi's anti-CM blabber, YSRC tells Naidu

YSR Congress leaders conducted a mock funeral and burnt Naidu's effigy

TIRUPATI: Venting ire at Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu for allowing his party leaders to use highly objectionable language against Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSR Congress leaders conducted a mock funeral and burnt Naidu’s effigy here on Friday.

Following the party high command’s call, the Janagraha Deeksha continued here for the second day at the instance of ruling party legislator Bhumana Karunakar Reddy. YSRC cadre raised anti-Naidu slogans and demanded that he apologise for the derogatory remarks made by his party’s national spokesperson K. Pattabhi Ram.

Speaking to reporters, Karunakar Reddy blamed Naidu for trying to create unrest in the state with his political conspiracies. He said that Pattabhi’s utterances had the approval of Naidu and their abusive language against the Chief Minister was hurting the sentiments of the people.

Mayor Dr Sirisha, deputy mayor Narayana, corporator Bhumana Abhinay and others were present.
