KCR stresses on transparency in land portal \'Dharani\'

KCR stated that the Dharani website will be used as a tool to reduce corruption and improve transparency

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao said that the Dharani portal should be designed to maintain revenue records in a transparent way as it was a part of the revolutionary reforms undertaken by the state government. He has called a high-level review meeting on Tuesday.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office the meeting will be held at 2 pm and all the concerned officials attending the meeting were directed to bring comprehensive information along with them.

The Chief Minister introducing the New Revenue Bills in the Assembly recently announced that the Dharani website will be used as a tool to reduce corruption and improve transparency. This is not the only solution to end all our woes.

He also said that “the portal will be developed in a transparent manner as anyone could check the details on the website from any country. One can view and download the details of any land, the portal will have all the necessary information. Mutation of land will be made through Dharani portal after the new Revenue Act came into force. The portal brings a permanent solution to all the land disputes.”
