Kishan Reddy built confidence in Cadre
Hyderabad: The three days of Jan Ashirvad Yatra by Union culture and tourism minister G. Kishan Reddy organised by the BJP state unit has turned out to be a great success. It has boosted the morale of leaders and cadre, giving them confidence that BJP can come to power in Telangana state during the next Assembly elections.
This is mainly because the Union minister has brought in clarity within the state party unit as to why and how BJP can come to power and, along with it, the required confidence to accomplish the task.
Kishan Reddy has taken up a yatra after several years for building confidence among ground-level karyakartas as well as local leaders, who work for the party full time. Before formation of Telangana, as a state party president and party floor leader in AP Legislative Assembly, Kishan Reddy had undertaken a yatra across the state.
This yatra of his has come as a Union minister. This achievement has led to discussions within the cadre as to how a common worker in the party has gone on to become a Union Cabinet minister. It passes on the message among cadre and people that anyone in the party who works hard can get into a good position.
Kishan Reddy’s move has also enabled him to convey how Prime Minister Narendra Modi has picked up MPs community-wise as ministers of his Cabinet. At every public meeting that he addressed during his yatra, the minister declared that Modi has chosen 52 ministers from OBC, SC, ST, Women, and Minorities. This sends a message to various communities within the society that BJP is the only party that will do such social justice.
He has also cornered the ruling TRS, listing out community-wise allocations of ministries within Chief Minister K. Chanddrashekar Rao’s Cabinet.
On one hand Kishan Reddy explained how the Modi government has taken measures to control Covid-19, while on the other; he has listed the several historical decisions of the Prime Minister, like Article 370 article, Citizenship Amendment Act, triple talaq and other issues.
He also mentioned that the state government has failed in utilising the central funds for development of Telangana while also diverting central funds to other schemes.
Post the yatra by the union minister, cadre and leaders of the party in districts, Parliament and Assembly constituencies are very much in “josh” and confident about frontally taking on the TRS.
