Hyderabad: Alleging that the TRS government had not taken up any worthwhile development works, especially in the capital, TD leaders said the people had started looking back at the party as the one which could bring prosperity to the state.
Telangana TD working president and MLA A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday inaugurated the remodelled Telangana TD office at NTR Trust Bhavan and performed puja. Speaking afterwards, he said the development works claimed by the government was only seen in advertisements but nothing was witnessed on the ground.
“People who were emotional at the time of bifurcation are now settled and have started looking at the TD for development of the state, he said. Mr Revanth Reddy said minister K.T. Rama Rao promised immediate road repairs in Srinagar Colony after a whirlwind tour but even after two months not a single road had been repaired.
TS TD president L. Rama-na said TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao should learn from his AP counterpart who was “on a development spree.”
